The reason I chose Colombia, was that I found LAI at a “gold list” over agencies and I decided to try a membership. I have heard that Latin women are a lot warmer and are more caring than women from Scandinavia. And now I have been to Colombia, and it was the best Christmas I ever had. There was no trouble with the safety, and the staff at LAI is really caring. They were always there when I needed any help. Especially the translation service is excellent. And they made me feel like I was at home, like a family member. I had already been writing to a girl for about 6 months when I decided to take the trip to meet her. It was love at first sight, and we are planning to get married in April. I can highly recommend LAI and if anybody out there is planning a trip, just do it. You will meet lots of nice girls and get a lot of friends. And if you are worried about the safety, don’t be. You only hear about the bad things in the newspapers and TV, but the real truth is totally different. It’s just great! Just remember a lot of tissues for the day you are leaving.
